In February 2026, I had the wonderful honor of being a part of San Diego State’s Hugh C Hyde Living Writer’s Series with the focus of the evening San Diego Stories.
Prof Meagan Marshall, who runs the series, is a fantastic educator. Her students read the work closely and brought insightful questions.
Below is a video of my reading followed by final project videos created by students based on my work. Their close attention to my prose coupled with their creativity are amazing gifts for which I am so grateful.
